About a thousand years ago, people used to buy CDs and DVDs to enjoy music and films. This was once a great revenue source for entertainment retail chains. But as things started to digitise, these retailers needed new in-store revenue streams.
Proactively, I approached my boss with an idea for our client, Musica. Let’s sell regular products in their ‘lifestyle’ section and give them a ‘Rock Star’ theme. But, let’s have some serious fun with the packaging in both design AND copy to make them jump off the shelves.
The client loved it.
The copy got noticed at various awards shows, including the highly prestigious D&AD.
